Traversée de Biarritz à la nage

In order to perpetuate the 90?s tradition of Biarritz swimmers diving into the ocean, and following the success of last year?s event
success of last year?s event (with almost 400 people taking part), the Traversée de Biarritz à la Nage is back
on Saturday June 22, 2024, at the Port-Vieux beach.
Organized by the swimming section of Biarritz Olympique Omnisports, this year?s event is expecting 600
participants, including local swimmers as well as those from other French and Spanish regions.
4 events for children and adults of all levels
Starting at 8:30 a.m., the events will follow one another:
? 5000m loop
? 3 x 500m relay* ?
? 1500m loop* ?
? 300m loop - reserved for children aged 9 to 11
*accessible to swimmers over 14 - Parental consent required for minors
Please note that a safety and rescue service will be provided by professionals on the ground and in the water
