Spot de l'Uhabia

Surf spot

The spot in Uhabia is a beach break on Uhabia beach.

The spot is rather passable at low and mid tide and is suitable for all levels. With the mouth of the river, good sandbanks can form to the south, giving a left/right peak that works well and regularly. The south side (Uhabia) is popular with bodyboarders at high tide as the shorebreak forms a tube close to the bank
There is also a peak to the north of the beach (Les Embruns), opposite the Les Embruns re-education centre. Beware however of the rocks on this side of the beach.
This is a fallback spot where surfers are pretty sure to find waves, except in case of big swell (from about 2 meters), where the spot gets saturated.

Free parking, public showers and toilets.
