The Museum of Basse Navarre is located in Saint-Palais, at the crossroads of the Tours (GR 655) and Vézelay (GR 654) pilgrim routes.
The tour features a number of themes relating the history of Lower Navarre and Saint-Palais: prehistory, the Roman presence, the new towns of Lower Navarre, the Chancellery of Navarre, the Saint-Palais mint, Basque pelota, 19th-century Saint-Palais, the pilgrimage routes to Santiago de Compostela, craftsmanship, lapidary art and agriculture in Lower Navarre.
