The only house of Dutch style of the region. This house bears the name of San Estebania, the name of his first owner Esteban d' Etcheto, trader and shipowner fascinated by the houses which he had seen in Amsterdam. It was built by 1630 and welcomed cardinal Mazarin on the occasion of the marriage of Louis XIV in Saint Jean de Luz, on June 9th, 1660. It was collectively called house Mazarin until Ravel becomes famous and lends it its name.
