Église romane de Sainte-Engrâce
Historic site and monument, Church
The Navarrese abbey of Leire founded the Romanesque church of Santa Grazi in 1085, with a hospital for pilgrims, and it also became an important stop on the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela.
Situated at 630 metres above sea level in its green setting, the Romanesque church dates from the 11th century and is remarkable. Listed as a Historic Monument, it has 12 high quality historiated capitals. The adjoining cemetery has discoid steles.
