15 minutes from Saint Jean Pied de Port, on the road to the Iraty forest, the Etxepareborda farm is located at the foot of the Béhorleguy peak.
Valérie and Jean Beñat, the 4th generation of farmers, welcome you on the spot to explain their trade and their know-how: they perpetuate the manufacture of an authentic cheese by combining tradition and modernity. Come and take the time to taste the Ardi Gasna made from their flock of Manech black-headed ewes. We also breed blonde Aquitaine sheep. Our ewes and cows graze in summer from June to the end of September at an altitude of 1000m on the Aphanice plateau.
