Les Cannelés du Pays Basque "Maison Berthold" since 2012
In the heart of Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, we make every day our mini cannelés for the aperitif, the snack or the dessert, by privileging the fresh products of the soil. You will discover, according to the market of the day, the different varieties that we make on the spot throughout the day. We work in an artisanal way and each of our cannelés requires a particular attention, the choice of our raw materials, their cutting with the hand, the filling of each mould individually, the very precise and delicate cooking, the unmoulding to finally be tasted. The factory is open every day from the beginning of April to the end of December. We will welcome you with great pleasure to make you discover our work and our culinary creations.
