Espadrilles Don Quichosse

Artisan

Don Quichosse espadrilles are unique pieces hand-sewn in the town of Mauléon-Licharre, in the heart of the Basque Country.
This town has been famous for its production of handcrafted espadrilles since the 18th century. The quality of the craftsmanship is such that the company has been awarded the "Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant" (EPV) label. Their workshop is a lively place where passion and expertise are shared, in the heart of an environment where century-old machines bear witness to the company's history. As a factory outlet, the workshop is also a museum where you can discover and appreciate the timeless quality of Don Quichosse products, including the 425, a hand-sewn espadrille. Although the boutique is open all year round, a self-guided tour of their manufacturing workshop is available from May to September for an even more immersive experience.
