AKERBELTZ Brewery: a local, independent craft brewery. Since 1999, AKERBELTZ beers have been brewed in the Basque Country by François IRAOLA, in keeping with traditional brewing methods. The brewery is based in Ascain, at the foot of the mythical Rhune. AKERBELTZ manages the entire production of its beers: from receipt of raw materials and ingredients to packaging, shipping and sales. Initiation and tasting of our craft beers await you during our opening hours. You can also simply quench your thirst at our bar, taste a selection of Basque products and buy our beers directly from the boutique. The brewery is not a museum. Certain production imperatives or participation in external events may force us to modify our operations from time to time.
